New team OnForm, which held its official launch at Writtle College in Chelmsford two weeks ago, has announced that Clover Murray has joined their women’s team line-up.
The 19-year-old is widely regarded as one of the most promising young riders in British women’s cycling – while 2016 didn’t bring her any victories, she took four second places and impressed by holding her own against more experienced riders in a number of events as well as working hard to support her team mates at her previous squad. Clover has also been a successful triathlete.
“I’m so excited to be joining Team OnForm,” says Clover. “They are a great team with strength in depth with backing from very supportive sponsors. There is such a buzz about the team and I really like their team spirit on and off the bike. I can’t wait to race for Team OnForm and be part of such a professional set up. I don’t doubt the support they can offer will help my development in cycling.”

Team principal Simon Howes was equally enthusiastic. “We are excited to be adding to the strong group of riders that we already have, he says. “The current rider roster we’ve assembled have made a fantastic start to the season. Alongside the more experienced riders we have a fast developing group of juniors who are not only showing rapid progression but are also delivering results in there first few senior races.”
“Clover is already very familiar with the staff, riders & sponsors. Clover attended team training weekends based at our partner Writtle University College so saw at first hand our professionalism, dedication & commitment to the development of riders.”
